Residential and commercial window tinting across St. Louis
For homes, our residential window tinting service covers every room: the living room that turns into a greenhouse at 4 p.m., the home office with glare on the monitor, the bathroom window that faces the neighbor's driveway, and the sunroom you can't use in July.
For businesses, our commercial window tinting service handles offices, storefronts, restaurants and medical buildings. Film evens out hot and cold spots, cuts screen glare, protects merchandise from fading, adds privacy to conference rooms and gives a building a cleaner, uniform look from the street.
Not sure what you need? Our guide to ceramic vs. dyed vs. reflective window film explains the main film types in plain English.

Why St. Louis windows need film
St. Louis summers are long, hot and humid, and late-day sun on west-facing glass can push a room well past the thermostat setting. Winters swing the other way, and older single-pane windows in the City and inner-ring suburbs lose heat fast.
Window film works on both problems. Heat control film stops solar heat before it gets into the room, and low-E film helps hold furnace heat inside in January. Curious about the payoff? Read does window film really lower energy bills.
We see the same patterns across the region: brick homes in St. Louis City and Webster Groves with original glass worth keeping, big window walls in Chesterfield and Town and Country, and office glass in Clayton and Creve Coeur that heats up every afternoon.

Do you tint car windows?
No. St. Louis Tint Co. works on flat glass only: homes, offices, storefronts and other buildings. We don't tint cars, trucks or any other vehicles.
How much does it cost to tint windows in a St. Louis home?
It depends on how much glass you have, the type of film, and how easy the windows are to reach. Ceramic, low-E and security films cost more than basic dyed film. The fastest way to a real number is a free on-site estimate, where we measure every window and give you a written quote.
Will window tint make my house dark?
Not unless you want it to. Many modern films are nearly clear and still block heat and up to 99% of UV. We put samples on your own glass during the estimate so you can see the look before you choose.
Which window film is best for heat in a St. Louis summer?
For homes that want to keep a natural look, ceramic or spectrally selective films block a lot of solar heat without much darkening. If appearance matters less than performance, reflective films usually reject the most heat. We'll show you the spec sheet for each option so you can compare.
How long does window film last?
Quality professionally installed interior film typically lasts many years, and commercial-grade films are built for long service lives. Lifespan depends on the film, the glass and how much direct sun the window gets. Ask about our lifetime warranty when we give your estimate.
